A Message from Scott and Dawn Schnell

Who Charlie was – and still is for us – can never be captured by mere words or photos.  How do you capture the spirit of a 16-year-old who stood for others, who loved the camaraderie that came with being part of a team, who dedicated himself to a healthy diet and daily workouts transforming himself from a pudgy 12-year-old to an impressively fit young man and athlete?  How do you explain what it was like to see him organizing his Star Wars “guys” in his room, to see him watching TV with his dog Mudge, to see him lifting weights trying to best his Dad, and to see him laughing and smiling with his friends. 

You can’t, but maybe this will give you some idea of our Charlie.
